For more than 11 years, I have used dispute resolution techniques and strategies to guide people through their conflicts. Whether working contractually for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO) mediating for government agencies, working with agencies and not-for-profits helping families navigate the challenges of caring for aging loved ones, or providing conflict resolution services to a myriad of different organizations throughout the U.S, each opportunity to help people move forward has contributed to my overall effectiveness as a conflict management professional. My backgrounds in health care, human resources and government prepare me to assist clients in a wide range of conflicts and organizational situations.

I am pleased to offer this recommendation for, and endorsement, of Ms. Toni Hawkins and Hawkins Mediation. I became acquainted with Ms Hawkins about a year ago when I was appointed by the Probate Court of Madison County, Alabama, to serve a guardian and conservator for an elderly man. Because of a high degree of family dysfunction, the Circuit Court had issued a protection order which strictly limited his contact with his long-time spouse. Because I wanted to facilitate all reasonable contact between the two individuals, I engaged the services of Ms. Hawkins to supervise visitation.
Ms Hawkins has provided exemplary service. She has been available for communication on a moment’s notice. She has adjusted her schedule to accomodate the needs of this troubled family. She has provided personal supervision of visits and has promptly rendered written reports detailing the conduct of the parties during visits.
Without the assistance of Ms. Hawkins, this gentleman and his wife would have remained completely isolated from one another. With her assistance, their relationship has been nurtured and strengthened.
I am very grateful for the professionalism and dedication displayed by Ms. Hawkins and recommend her without hesitation.
